How do I create high quality prints?

All Topics

First things first, you definitely want to be shooting raw. This will let you get the best quality data so that you can make the most of your files in post-processing. Then in terms of your camera technique, you want to pay extra close attention to your focus to make sure that your subject appears razor sharp. This will help you blow up your prints to a larger size. In addition, you want to be paying attention to your exposure in the field and make sure that you have a good setting according to your histogram. Capturing better quality data in the field will let you have a better quality final photo, which means you can make a larger, nicer print without any artifacts or noise or other quality issues.
