Find answers to your photography questions.
Can you explain the ‘story’ component of taking a good photograph?
This concept can certainly be confusing. The best way to think about the story of your photo is to simply ask yourself: “What do you find interesting or cool about the scene in front of you?” The more you can identify and simplify what you are drawn to in a scene, the more you will be clearly identifying what your photo is about. That’s the story. And that’s what you can then use to make all the other decisions for you photo – from composition to camera technique.
